Join Us!

  1. Register now for the virtual New Club Research Marketing Session on Zoom.
  2. Once trained on how to use the research, depending on your schedule, you’ll be assigned to an area or areas to work with a team to start new club leads.
  3. Once your team confirms a new club lead, the Club Extension Chair, Pamela McCown, DTM, PID, will assign two Club Sponsors to start the club.
  4. Once the new club charters, the Club Quality Chair, Troy Rockett, DTM, will assign two Club Mentors to attend each meeting for six months.

Those who are trained in the New Club Research Marketing for District 56 will be granted access to the New Club Research Marketing Google drive to work in.

    David has been training and coaching individuals and teams on sales and leadership in the financial services industry for over 30 years. He is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) with Toastmasters International. He is a Charter Member of A+ Toastmasters and a long-time member of Talking Bull Toastmasters. He is the past Area Q51 Director and Division Q Director. In 2022-2023, David will be supporting District 56 and the Club Growth team as the Club Retention Chair (Club Coaches). He enjoys learning new things and spending time with family.

    Club Sponsor Training led by Pamela McCown, DTM, PID Pamela returns to the Club Growth Team this year as our Club Extension Chair and Club Sponsor Chair. We are currently cultivating many new club leads in District 56 and will be offering New Club Sponsor opportunities very soon. Pamela brings many years of experience in chartering new clubs. Join us to learn more about how YOU can serve a new club and earn your Club Sponsor award. Chartered 23 new clubs as Lt. Governor Marketing in 2004-2005 when District 56 was recognized as a Select Distinguished District.     Club Quality Chair (Club Mentors)

    Troy Rockett has been employed in the oil and gas industry for the past 42 years and joined Katy Toastmasters in Aug 2016. He remains active in his home club Katy Toastmasters and has served as President, achieving Outstanding President for 2018-2019, Sergeant-At-Arms in 2017-2018, and Vice President of Public Relations in 2021-2022. He has also served District 56 as Area Director in 2019-2020 for Division N-Area 25, leading his Area to President’s Distinguished. Most recently he also co-led the Toastmasters Summer Youth Leadership Program. He is also active in volunteering for District events as Master of Ceremonies at the 2018 District Spring Conference, Digital Spin Master for the 2022 Conference, and currently supporting the Club Growth Team as Club Quality Chair for 2022-2023. Outside Toastmasters he enjoys playing piano and spending time with his family.

    Club New Source Research Chair

    Zenia Shipp DTM joined Pearland Toastmasters in 2014. She remains active in her home club and is active in Young Professionals SE Toastmasters (charter member), Master Evaluators, and Dining Out Toastmasters. She has served her clubs as president, VPM, VPPR, treasurer, secretary, and sergeant-at-arms and also served District 56 as an Area Director, TLI trainer, and COT co-chair. Zenia led Area P4 to President’s Distinguished in 2017-2018, received her DTM in July 2018, and is the recipient of the 2020 Club Vice President Public Relations of the Year.
