District Council Meeting

The District Council is the District’s governing body and conducts the official business of the District. During these meetings, council members vote on matters affecting the District, receive reports from District leaders, review progress toward District goals, approve the annual budget, and conduct other business as required by Toastmasters International.

The District Council is composed of the District Executive Committee (District Director, Program Quality Director, Club Growth Director, Public Relations Manager, Administration Manager, Finance Manager, Immediate Past District Director, Division Directors, and Area Directors) plus the President and Vice President Education of every member club in good standing within the District.

Toastmasters District Council meetings are open to all paid active members of District 56, but only District Council members, are permitted to speak, make motions, and cast votes during the proceedings.
