D56 Spring Conference Virtual Parade of Banners

The D56 2024 Spring Conference is right around the corner on May 3rd and 4th.

To celebrate our members and clubs, we will have a virtual Parade of Banners of D56 Clubs.

It’s easy to participate!

  • Take a picture (or a screenshot) of your club members and your club banner.
  • Send the photo and club name to [email protected] by April 10th. (Only 1 photo/slide per club, please).

Don’t have a club banner? No problem, just send a photo (or screenshot) of your club members and your club name to be included.

Talk Up Toastmasters Membership Building Program

The TALK UP TOASTMASTERS membership program is the chance to encourage members to invite guests to a special meeting where prospective members can learn about Toastmasters’ many benefits.

Then add 5 new, dual or reinstated members with a join date between February 1 and March 31 and earn a Talk up Toastmasters ribbon and special discount code for 10% off next club order from Toastmasters International.

District 56 will also provide the first 50 clubs with 5 new, dual or reinstated members receive a Toastmaster gift card.

Business Networking Activities Added to District 56 2024 Spring Conference

Corporate Clubs and Business Professionals! On Friday, May 3, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. join the Toastmasters District 56 2024 Spring Conference to connect with professionals from various industries and expand your network.

Highlights include

  • A fireside chat with keynote speaker, Farzana Chohan, DTM, ID – she is a 2022 TEDx Speaker, Distinguished Toastmaster, Toastmasters Region 5 International Director, Doctor of Management in Mentoring and Leadership, and the author of SUBTLE (Social Unconscious Bias Terminating Larger Equity).
  • Roundtable discussions and demonstration Toastmasters meeting – We have lined up a variety of exciting and innovative topics at multiple tables throughout the day to network, collaborate, and create meaningful connections between professionals.
  • Education Sessions connecting corporate challenges with Toastmasters opportunities – How do I incorporate my ideal customer into my 30 second elevator speech? Finding and Nurturing Leads: Learn where to find your best customers and how to move them through the buyer’s journey. And more.
  • Sponsor tables, author’s corner, entrepreneur’s corner, hospitality suite, and team building activities

Plus there’s fun – a selfie booth, live music, and more. After a day of learning and networking, stay for more Toastmasters engagement, including a Tall Tales speech contest, loteria, stand up comedy, trivia, and karaoke.

The cost for the one-day event is $99 and does not include meals, gift bag, or souvenir event program. AND, for a limited time, you can bring a friend or colleague with the 2 for 1 special ticket price!
