Joining Toastmasters provides opportunities to deliver both prepared speeches and short, off-the-cuff speeches. You’ll get personalized, supportive feedback on using stage and voice modulation, gestures, eye contact and more. Members from all facets of the organization participate in quarterly workshops covering a variety of interesting topics—like overcoming a common fear of public speaking—to help them gain confidence, grow and succeed. Did you know that the 2023 Spring Contests will feature Evaluation Contests in addition to the International Speech Contest? Have you thought about competing, but don’t feel confident enough? Would you like to become a better speech evaluator in general, so you don’t get butterflies in your stomach when signing up for the role?

If So, You Need Evaluation Contest Bootcamp Training!

Sign up to attend bootcamp training and learn from Master Evaluators Club as they share:

  • How to actively listen and mitigate language barriers and bias
  • How to master notetaking and roadmap usage
  • How to unlock Evaluation Contest best practices

This online training will also include a test speaker, mock evaluations, and an evaluator feedback session led by a Master Evaluator.

Are You an Animal Lover?

We have a new club in town, Tails Tales Toastmasters, and we think animal lovers will love it! You are invited to come as a guest, and we hope you’ll choose to join us as a member. We currently meet on Zoom on the 1st Wednesday each month from 9 AM to 10 AM.

We also meet in person at different dog parks on the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 9 AM to 10 AM. Dog park location is shared with members.
