In 2013, she was selected by Toastmasters International to serve as a Chief Ambassador for the Pathways education program that Toastmasters International developed to enhance the Toastmasters learning experience. In 2014 she was awarded a Toastmasters Presidential Citation in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia by the International President of Toastmasters International.

She worked with the Board to develop, support and modify the policies and procedures that guide the organization toward fulfilling its mission. 

As a past International Director and Past Region Advisor, Pamela McCown now serves as a working ambassador for the organization. Pamela mentors Toastmasters leaders around the world and represents Toastmasters in a variety of capacities.
