Southeast Houston Toastmasters is focused on ensuring our members have the skills and knowledge on their journey to becoming confident orators and leaders. We offer educational workshops on Pathways, speech evaluation, and the Better Speaker Series. Our diverse membership delivers inspirational, persuasive, informative, and entertaining speeches; these speeches are evaluated with encouraging and positive words from our speech evaluators.
We’re conducting virtual meetings on the 1st-3rd Tuesday and hybrid meetings on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. There are no meetings on 5th Tuesday. In-person venue is South Belt Ellington Chamber of Commerce (10500 Scarsdale Blvd, Houston 77089). Free parking is available. It behooves you to attend our weekly online meetings (with occasional hybrid format) so that you can witness how our members are finding their voice as prepared or impromptu speakers. Our motto – We C.A.R.E. (Connect with guests/members; Acknowledge accomplishments; Reignite our club meetings; and Encourage our members). By the way, we offer self-pay for all members.
This club is for MD Anderson employees to improve communication and leadership skills.
