UHCL Toastmasters Host September Open House with Guest Speaker
Event is free to the public
UHCL, University of Houston Clear Lake) Toastmasters (https://uhcltm.toastmastersclubs.org/directions.html), invites residents and guests to its open house to meet members and watch a special surprise guest speaker, featured UHCL representative or community leader, talk about the importance of communication skills for today’s professional.
After hearing from our special surprise UHCL community Guest Speaker, members, and guests will enjoy a regular Toastmasters meeting that will include prepared speeches, Table Topics™ (impromptu speeches), and evaluations.

Storytellers Toastmasters is hosting our Fourth Annual Storytelling Table Topics Competition on Thursday, October 5th and all District 56 Toastmasters are invited!
The Storytelling Table Topics Competition is a unique event for this advanced club that highlights one of the special features of each club meeting – Storytelling Table Topics!
Up to four teams will engage in a storytelling battle to weave the best story from a topic assigned by the Storytelling Topics Master.
The competition is open to all Toastmaster including district officers because this event is not an official Toastmasters contest.
RSVP by Saturday, September 30, 2023 if you are interested in competing, assisting or viewing the competition and more details will be sent to you closer to the event date.

On Friday, May 19th, 2023, The Woodlands Toastmasters Club, the self-
proclaimed “Best Toastmasters Club in Texas” gathered to celebrate
their 35th year anniversary with current and past members, including three founding
members. The Club also celebrated their 20th consecutive year of being a President’s
Distinguished Club – a very high achievement! Only 20 % of clubs internationally earn
this prestigious designation.
During the gathering, the present members recognized the founding and chartered
members who cultivated a family-like atmosphere to assist everyone in achieving their
individual public speaking goals. Members were encouraged to support and expand
on the founders’ legacy.
