Speech contests are a Toastmasters tradition. Each year, more than 30,000 Toastmasters compete in Humorous, Evaluation, Tall Tales, and International speech contests. This year District 56 will have Evaluation and International Speech competitions beginning at the club level and winners continue through the Area, Division and District levels. The district will also have a Spanish Speaking International Showcase open to all D56 Spanish-speaking members.

District 56 invites you to witness our 2023 speech contest finals! Come support and learn from this year’s best Division contestants.

The winner of the District International Speech Contest will proceed to the region quarterfinal. Following the region quarterfinals, winners advance to the semifinals for a chance to participate in the World Championship of Public Speaking at the Toastmasters International Conference.
