2025-2026 District 56 Leadership Applications are OPEN!

While we are almost halfway through the current Toastmasters year, the District Leadership Committee is already looking toward our future. You are the future of District 56.

The vision of this year’s committee is to provide the District 56 Council Members with a minimum of two qualified candidates nominated for each District Leadership position to vote on.

Timeline
Jan 15, 2025 – Deadline for candidates to declare intent to run.
Apr 04, 2025 – DLC Chair submits DLC report to District Director
April 18, 2025 – Posted on the District website
May 10, 2025 – Submit floor nominations to the District Director.
May 17, 2025 – Annual Meeting of the District Council.

NOTE: Nominated candidates must give their speeches in person. If they are not in person, they may appoint someone in person to speak on their behalf. Speeches cannot be given online or in a video format.

Must be an active member of Member Clubs in good standing within the District.
Must be in good standing with Toastmasters International.
Served at least six consecutive months as a member of a District Council.

Club Growth Director Qualifications
Must be an active member of Member Clubs in good standing within the District.
Must be in good standing with Toastmasters International
Served at least six consecutive months as a Club President
At least 12 consecutive months as a Program Quality Director, Club Growth Director, Division Director or Area Director.

Program Quality Director Qualifications
Must be an active member of Member Clubs in good standing within the District.
Must be in good standing with Toastmasters International
Served at least six consecutive months as a Club President
At least 12 consecutive months as a Program Quality Director, Club Growth Director, Division Director or Area Director or a combination thereof.

District Director Qualifications
