The retreat sits on an 8-acre lake filled with kayaks and canoes, floating dock, beach area, waterfront, fire pit, swinging benches, outdoor activities pavilion, fishing dock, outdoor picnic area, indoor event space with stage, dining hall, commercial kitchen, and much more. Cabin 1 has 33 twin beds, 2 king beds, and 5 double beds. Cabin 2 has 33 twin beds, 3 double beds and 2 king beds. Cabin 3 has 5 double beds and 7 twin bunk beds. All have toilets & showers.

This retreat is for ALL D56 Members. Join us on 67 Acres of fenced-in land, including an event hall and a private 8-acre lake. This retreat is FREE to D56 members who renew their April 1 dues by February 20, 2025, or $35 per person. Attend for a day, a night, or the entire weekend.

📍 Location: 67-acre Retreat & Event Hall, Bellville, Texas, nestled by a serene 8-acre private lake.
📅 Date & Time: Saturday, February 22, 2025, 9 AM – Sunday, February 23, 2025, 9 AM.
🌟 Come and go as you please! Overnight stays are optional—you can join for the day, overnight in one of the three large shared cabins, or join the set-up committee on Friday and stay the weekend!

🌟 Firepit Fun: Make s’mores and enjoy storytelling, guitar playing, and singing under the stars.
🌟 Classic Games: Bingo, “The Human Knot,” and more!
🏆 Running Scoreboard: Winners of each game will earn points, with prizes awarded to the top teams at the end of the retreat.

- For members who won’t be able to renew by February 20th, the registration for the D56 Mid-Year Retreat is $35 per person
Send the total registration amount through Zelle by scanning the QR code.
If you prefer to mail a check instead of Zelle, please make the check payable to Toastmasters International District 56 and mail it to PO Box 670341, Houston, TX 77267. We must receive the check by February 15, 2025, for it to clear.
The retreat will not only open and close with inspiring, heartfelt speakers, but we will also have inspiring speakers throughout the day, making this event a perfect blend of energy, growth, and reflection.
