ABOUT ZENIA SHIPP: Zenia Shipp, DTM: I joined Toastmasters in January 2014; I’m currently pursuing two paths, Team Collaboration (I’m level 2) and Presentation Master (I’m level 3). I attended my first meeting in hopes of getting quick tips I could use for a keynote speech I was asked to deliver. I became hooked on the process after I recognized that the Toastmaster education program helps with communication at all levels (public, social, job interviews, etc.). I’ve served the district as Area Director (President Distinguish Area P-4), club mentor, and a member of the 2018 Leadership Committee. I’ve served as a club president, secretary, treasurer, sergeant-at-arms and vice president public relations.
ABOUT PADMA LIYANAGE: Padma Liyanage, EC3: I joined Toastmasters in March 2015 to improve my communication skills and leadership skills. I’m continuing my Effective Coaching Path, Level 4. My goal is to become an effective communicator and true leader. I’m a wife, mother, and a software technologist. I have over 25 years experience as a Technical Leader, Manager, Lead, and Developer in the software industry. I’ve served as club president, vice president of public relations, and secretary.
