DESCRIPCIÓN DEL CURSO: As a former VP Education prior to the release of Pathways, my three key concerns as a club leader were the following. 1) How do we as a club help members get value from their time and membership dues; 2) How can I as VP Education fulfill my role as a Guide for their Educational Journey; 3) What is the best way to track progress so that the club can achieve DCP goals while the members also see their achievement?

QUÉ APRENDERÁN LOS ASISTENTES: As a continuing or incoming Club Leader you will find that you’ll be able to more fully understand and be able to describe the value that the Toastmaster Member is receiving for their investment of time, energy and money in the Toastmasters experience. You’ll be able to help the member navigate Pathways as they choose and then execute on the unique projects on their way to completion. The knowledge and comfort you’ll gain through this program helps as you guide each member towards completion of their own unique training in a structure and pace which makes sense for the member and increases their individual comfort level so that the members gets the most of their experience. You can expect members who enjoy and thrive in with this experience want to challenge themselves by taking advantage of extra opportunities including Speech Contests, etc.

Objetivo de aprendizaje 1: That the Leadership Team assists the Member to Understand the breadth and depth of learning and training available to the member.
Objetivo de aprendizaje 2: Be able to help the Member identify their best interests and training needs as a member and to choose the Path and each of the elements that will complete your unique training.
Objetivo de aprendizaje 3: As the VP Education you will understand how to find the Reports, run the Reports and share the Reports with the member and Executive Team of each member.

ABOUT MAX LOPEZ: Max Lopez has been enjoying his own Toastmasters experience since 2006 and several stints as VP Education, VP Membership, Secretary, President and Sergeant at Arms. The advent of Pathways has meant to Max that professional grade training is available in a Self-Learning format accessible to the community as a whole and is available for individuals. Max has completed ACG and is working on second levels in Strategic Relations and Presentation Mastery. Max is currently completing his two Paths which will result in DTM.
