During the Board of Directors Briefing held during the Toastmasters International Convention, the board discussed the realignment of Districts within Regions 1-7. Our District, District 56 is in Region 4, is part of the District Realignment Program.

The District Director of each respective District is to appoint a District representative to participate on the Joint Realignment Committee to represent the District in the process. Once the appointment is made, the District Executive Committee must ratify the representative to serve on the committee.

All DEC Members are invited to register, attend, and ratify the District Director’s appointed District Representative to participate on the Joint Realignment Committee to represent the District in the process.

We will also be voting on the method of attendance for the Annual Meeting of the District Council, whether it be online or hybrid. The Annual Meeting of the District Council will be held during the Spring Conference at South Shore Harbour Resort and Conference Center, on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 8 AM to 10 AM, where the District Council will vote on the
