A CALL TO ALL DISTRICT COUNCIL MEMBERS

You are virtually invited to attend the

District 56 Fall 2020 Business Meeting

As leaders throughout our District holding offices of President, Vice President Education, Area and Division Directors and Senior 7 offices, your voice and input matters. We are the members who have been elected to uphold established policies and procedures for District 56.  We gather twice a year in the Fall and Spring to make those choices and learn the health status of our District.

Please join me on September 19, 2020 for our Fall District Council Meeting (DCM) to let your voice be heard.  The accompanying agenda will provide the list of business matters that require your approval at this time.  In order to conduct business, a quorum is needed.

Can I count on you to click on the link provided in the agenda and join in? It won’t be successful without you.

As much as I need your presence and encourage your attendance at the DCM, I also encourage you to take advantage of the virtual (FREE) Toastmasters International Convention. Like me, you’ve received multiple notices asking you to sign up.  Why not experience it?

District 56 was represented in the Semi-Final Speech Contest by Akili Atkinson of Blue Frog Toastmasters. Results are pending.  I’m sure she would love your support when she advances.  You have to register to attend the contests.

Please save the date, September 19, 2020 on your calendar and donate a few hours of your morning to transact business, meet new friends and catch up with old acquaintances from 8am – 9am during Credentials / Registration.  The meeting begins promptly at 9am.
